Set against the rarely explored backdrop of North Korea, Choir of God follows a group of ordinary citizens recruited into a government-sanctioned “religious” choir designed to impress foreign audiences. As rehearsals begin, the group struggles with both the absurdity of their mission and their lack of musical ability.

What starts as a staged performance gradually evolves into something genuine. Through shared hardship, humor, and song, the choir members form real emotional bonds and begin to question their roles, identities, and beliefs.

Blending satire with warmth, the film delivers a unique story about connection, resilience, and the unexpected power of music.
