‘Longlegs’ follows FBI agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe) who is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case, which eventually reveals evidence of the occult, which ties in perfectly with the cryptic messages at the end of the trailers which fans of Perkins, and the horror genre as whole, quickly discovered meant ‘Hail Satan’. Clearly drawing influence from David Fincher’s ‘Zodiac’, the demonic and chaotic tones throughout the trailers promise a terrifying watch.

Team Member Izzy gets us up to speed to prepare for the release of Nicolas Cage's new thriller.
For the past six months, NEON has been releasing nail-biting, terrifying and eerie trailers in preparation for Oz Perkins’ newest horror thriller, ‘Longlegs’.
The trailers depict iconography of the satanic and classic American horror, amplifying the suspense and anticipation for this film; in conjunction with the fear-invoking score and Andres Arochi’s cinematography, many critics have described Longlegs as ‘the scariest film of the decade’.
Along with Monroe, the film stars many outstanding actors such as Nicolas Cage (as Longlegs himself), Blair Underwood (Agent Carter) and Kiernan Shipka (Carrie Anne Camera). Cage is also credited as being a producer on the film which really sets the tone for how immense it will actually be.
Not only will Longlegs be a smash-hit for horror fanatics, but the crime element caters to all those who love to read and watch everything true crime - so even if the accolade of ‘scariest film of the decade’ doesn’t quite tick your cinema boxes, Perkins ensures there’s more than meets the eye with this film.
Playing at select Light Cinemas from the 12th of July, watch Longlegs in all his glory, that’s if you’re brave enough...
